These are terrible for running in the long run. You're more prone to cause damage when running on cushion vs without/barefoot
Not true. There's not 1 solutions that works for everyone. The whole barefoot running phenomenon came from them tryna emulate African runners who spent a lot of their lives running barefoot. That might not even be a thing anymore. But those people who do that have feet more developed and adapted to being bare feet they've done it most of their lives. The emulations don't cut it. They also were not running on concrete or cement. You absolutely need cushioning if you run on city roads.
While all the elitists running brands were making over structured shows Nike was on this light cushion light synthetic upper move since the zoom running line of shoes. Companies like new balance ridiculed it and now their running divisions all look similar. Turns out nobody has all the answers.
I wore the Nike free series and they are awesome on clay, they had that barefoot feel. Wouldn't have used them on harder roads. Anyone selling a one size fits all solution for running shoes iying. Everyone needs to tailor their choices to their feet and their needs.
