Hol up: if the purpose of an app is to keep you using it....why are people surprised when dating apps dont work?

Free apps need to keep people coming back to serve adds or get your data but some/most dating apps use a freemium model where you can only use the best features by purchasing them. Also some dating apps are subscription based.

So that's why they do not necessarily need for you to come back if they manage to take 50 bucks from you every time you want to find a partner.

The only problem I have with apps is women not looking like their pictures. Women know how to hit them angles, filters, and lighting so every picture looks perfect. They also take photo’s everywhere they go so it makes them appear more traveled. And some people photograph well.

Anyway, I meet these ladies in person and they’re typically 1-3 points lower in person than their app pictures.

Atleast when you meet someone in your daily interactions you KNOW they are what you want physically
