Yea returns had less action and more of a love story so critics loved it in comparison to more action and less of a love story. Critics. ITS A SUPERMAN FILM! I think they were expecting superman to get the Nolan treatment and when they saw it was just a kick buns action film, they lashed out.

i saw this new superman in theatres and i was high as fukk so really the whole time i was just looking at the screen staring, and honestly there isnt any action in this movie until the end and even than it just kinda comes and goes so fast that it doesnt really make sense, but it IS fairly entertaining
