Time's Up President and CEO Lisa Borders Resigns

"With gratitude for her work, Time's Up accepts and supports Lisa Borders’ decision to resign as president and CEO," the organization wrote in a statement. "We know that it is the right decision for Lisa as well as the organization. Our COO, Rebecca Goldman, will serve as interim CEO while we conduct an executive search. We remain steadfast in our mission to create safe, fair, and dignified work for women of all kinds."

I thought this was a loose grassroots kinda thing.
Nah, these are women in designer suits and diamond brooches having $1000 lunches
A corporation deals with $$$
That means these women get paid a salary
Borders was the president of the WNBA, so for her to leave that job to take this one means that the job pays some real scratch.:wtb:
Where is this money coming from and what are they doing with it, besides paying their staff salaries and running offices?
What does Time's Up do to make money?:lupe:
Even if they're a non-profit, they still have to have a focus on fundraising.

Interesting.:patrice:

Nonprofit organizations often use many volunteers to carry out their mission. However, a nonprofit is also a business and must have qualified staff who will commit to operating and maintaining the business side of the operation.

However, since nonprofits exist to benefit the needy, it seems contradictory to pay money to the staff rather than supporting the organization's cause directly. While the staff keeps the organization operational so that it can continue its mission, it's not an easy task to determine a pay level that attracts qualified candidates while not spending precious funds on overpaying salaries.

That's what caught my eye. Non-profits need paid staff, but it usually doesnt pay that well
This gig obviously pays very well
Where is this abundance of money coming from?

Timesup took advantage of the 501c4 tax exemption

Which allows it to collect donations and monies and under the guise of using these funds to help lobby legislation as a "charity"

Most of these 501c charities are HUSTLES

A friend of mine she runs a food bank for the homeless and collects food and monetary donations from Churches..and Civic leaders.....

She claims its just a humanitarian task...

Yet she is having her Birthday party at the strip club tonight
