All of these cats out here trying so hard to put out a unique, esoteric, transcendent album that is both lyrically and sonically complex as well as hip-hop certifiable.
:ohhh:

Now that it is cool to bridge genres, fashion, and culture, dudes get a producer to throw a Dream Pop, Art Wave, or New Wave sample on an album and walk around proclaiming themselves an eclectic spokesman for the new generation.
:beli:

:whoa:
Not hating, I'm just saying, a lot of self-promotion and bullshyt going on here but very little in terms of artistry.

What's amazing is how far ahead of its time this song/album is. Everything being attempted today was done by Outkast when it was not alright to do it. The Nigs got booed at the Source awards. These dudes caught a lot of flack over this joint. shyt, just listening to this in school would have both black and white kids acting like you on some other shyt.
:rudy:

These new nigs need to show me something though.
