This dude would be overrated if anyone cared about the Lions. When you throw 45-50 times a game, of course you're going to put up 'stats'.

That don't make you good, tho.

well the defense choked away the win against the colts and the houston loss is where the refs screwed them on thanksgiving by letting my mans get away with a touchdown that wasnt a touchdown thanks to that gay ass rule so :manny:

People overstating how poor their defense is, them clowns didnt even up 20 points on offense in half of those games and in another 1/3 of the games this scrub threw multiple picks

but naw their secondary is really bad

Louis Delmas is the best player there and he can't ever stay healthy. Chris Houston been #1 corner for how long? :russ: Them nikkas made our Redskins secondary look competent.

our secondary now tho :takedat:

The d, coaching staff, and special teams all deserve some heavy credit for that stat, but Stafford gets his share too. Far too many times his inaccurate throws have killed drives or caused us to not convert on crucial downs. Dude got a lot of improving to do over the offseason.

This doesn't say what you think it says. After his rookie season, he has 32 TD 18 int, and over 60% completion against winning teams. That's certainly well above average. Additionally the Lions beat Dallas, Oakland and Denver in 2011 who would be on this list if it weren't for the Lions beating them which would certainly "pad his stats" more so. Football isn't a zero sum propositions whereas QBs are on the field by themselves. It's the ultimate team game. See Mark Sanchez 4 road playoff wins. Matthew Stafford is an excellent QB ANY team would be lucky to have. Thanks for proving such.

After his rookie season, he's thrown 44 passes per game in these games with 18 ints in 19 games. "Anyone" couldn't do that by any measure. The majority of qbs would perform far worse when facing obvious passing situations Stafford has faces. Learn the fukking rules.
