you dont need to track them, you just have to check if they left. its a software issue, its not simple but its very doable, the airline computers simply have to inform the federal computers that a person got on a flight
the big hole in the system is people leaving through the land borders, but closing the airline loophole would be a huge step, the fact that airlines cant tell the government when a person left is a ridiculous hole to have
Breh, you say that but software isn't free. A program to do that may run the government 10's of millions. Point is most people who have the dollars to afford airfare into the US are not going to miss their outgoing flight. More people cross the border than those who fly and stay in the US illegally thats where the issue is.
