I really wish he was there tbh, he did hold that division down from 2007-2013 and did a good job.

The problem is that Microsoft lost its focus, they wanted to dominate the living room first and focus on games second. They are correcting that problem now.

Not stolen from Apple, Apple was already in talks or finalizing the deal with Intel around the same time.

Apple left PowerPC because they were never able to get the chips to run efficiently enough to stick G5 into laptops.

The problem is that Microsoft lost its focus, they wanted to dominate the living room first and focus on games second. They are correcting that problem now.

It was a long standing MS strategy though and was bigger than Mattrick....remember WebTV (my father had that shyt).

Even if that vision wasn't there, they'd never beat out the PS in overall sales just due to territories like Mainland Europe, Asia, and "others" being PS strongholds.

And I'm not gonna knock the good things they did bring. But the bad stuff was really bad. Paying for online multi and the whole DLC shyt because they wanted to go DVD instead of even a proprietary format sucks and we're stuck with it now.
