The graphical jump isn't going to be major like PS1 to PS2 anyways, but trust, couple years into this gen and nikkas gonna be on some status real fast, and 6 years in? Yeah this thread is just gonna be one big crow-serving fest.

The leap between MGS1 and 2 is still the biggest graphical leap I've ever seen. shyt had everybody going no way!

Personally, I've think we've hit the ceiling graphics wise, it's all about improving performance now.

(PS1)1995- green screens
(PS2)2000- color screens and cameras
(PS3)2006- iphone
(PS4)2013- iphone 5s

I don't want the latency though. I'd rather non stream all day for primary gaming. Until these ISPs stop bullshytting, we're still at least 10 years from this being standard.

The gen after this upcoming one will be the last console gen at the minimum.

Eventually once Internet speeds are sufficent, games will be able to be streamed to your home negating the need to continually upgrade hardware.

It's only a matter of when the technology will be affordable/attainable for the general public.
