Yet…Your statement is based on her omitting it…Since she consciously omitted that line

When it was written, Americans sang right along to it aswell…I’m sure they do today.

But again “I understand”

Correct my statement is based on that line because we don't have a tradition of omitting that part of the song. She had the sense to understand why "shoot a n*gga like a film" might be something you'd want to leave out at a funeral.

i was at a funeral a few weeks ago for a best friend. one of her other friends was speaking reminiscing about how she always turned up to project pat, and that he would play it that day in her remembrance. i pretty sure one of my other homegirls in the back started up with they "ayyy" and everybody had a laugh.... cuz it was true! people are going to be sincerely remembered for how they lived 🤷‍♀️

I mean, it's ignorant as fukk but also kind of endearing. She quoted the right parts.

I've been to some crusty stuffy ass funerals that don't really honor that person's life and just go through the typical motions and bible verses. I get the notion of having decorum, but it's just a rap song and it's not like she started twerking after or some shyt.

I ain't mad at it
