I watched the whole interview. It was pretty good Horace said Jordan on a different level than kobe and penny. That's a credible opinion since he played with all 3 and went to the finals with all 3

ok...

waiting for Kobe stans to bash Horace for saying MJ is clearly>>>> and that Penny would have been equal to Kobe

If penny is equal to kobe why didn't he win any chips with shaq in orlando? Penny+Shaq did not win a single chamipionship explain that breh.

They werent together that long that's why but im definitely sure they win a chip if Shaq stays. They made a Finals appearance and another ECF in 96. Penny was that nikka

if you dont know that horace grant was famous as fukk for being automatic with the mid range j, you just werent old enough or paying attention in the 90s. any guy playing the 4 and hitting elbow jumpers got called horace grant around here (or for guys with recspecs on (if not called rambis))

Most kobe haters say if you plug in any player in replace of kobe the championships would be the same. Penny not winning in those two years with shaq just proves it's not that easy.

no it proves that Shaq was young, along with penny and they lost to 2 top 10 players ever in jordan and keem and lost to the greatest team ever the 96 bulls.

Had Shaq stayed, and penny would've never gotten hurt they win chips from 99-03 most likely. Or they flip flop with the spurs but they get atleast 3

and i also distinctly remember harvey grant being pretty much a bum (at least compared to horace) and being very disappointed in seeing him play after i heard that he was horace's brother
Random tidbit about Harvey Grant. I remember about 6 or 7 years or so ago when I was in college Harvey was coaching this semi-pro team and they had a game against the local semi-pro team that played home games at my school. I was there just playing some pickup ball and Harvey and the team came through for a shoot around before the game that night. I noticed Harvey was shooting around as well, and this muthafukka literally did not miss one shot for about 20 minutes. I was looking like :dahell: , Harvey could shoot like that?

That just let me know how skilled NBA players are. Random journeymen like Harvey fukking Grant had the wettest J I could have ever witnessed.

They were title contenders though. Look at who they lost to, they lost to the GOAT center in Hakeem in 95 and lost to the 72 win Bulls in 1996. If Penny and Shaq stayed together for 8 years like Kobe/Shaq did they would've at least gotten 1 or 2 Finals.

Prime Horrace would be a top 5 big man in todays pussified version of the league, are we forgetting how good Horace actually was as a 3rd/4th option

some you nikka are way to caught up in nostalgia lolll

horace was the ultimate complimentary player but he was never as great as the talent around......and its worthful even discussing how he would translate in to days game

great interview though

Thats true. Especially that older generation with good fundamentals.

Even Larry Bird at his age and flabbiness supposedly walked into Pacers practice and shut that shyt down. (obviously hes a different level than harvey)

Apparently, even though Bird has been out of the league for decades, he's still got it.
"He picked a ball up that had rolled over. He rolled up his sleeves and made about 15 in a row and just walked out like nothing just happened. It was the craziest thing I’ve seen."

When asked about his teammates' reaction to the impressive shooting display, George responded:

"We were speechless. We didn’t know whether to keep shooting or just to end practice. It was sweet, man."
