you niqqas are gunna get defensive and start pouting and attacking hot 97, but obviously they have a point. While I think saying white folks are the only ones bringing soul to black music is far too provocative, there is no question that white folks are the ones generally making relatable, grounded r n b, and hip hop, that is more appreciative of the genre's history and culture and of higher quality, than artists of color.
Compare JT to Usher's euro pop sell out ish. Compare Thicke to Trey Songz. Compare Macklemore and Mac Miller (why two white rappers both named mac, btw?) to Wiz, Future, Nicki, Tyga, Jay, Rozay, French, etc. Its night and day, and its the black rappers n artists who seem more comfortable chasing the euro pop friendly sound, and money over everything motto.
This just stems from an overall frustration with black artists and their od'ing on bugatti's, bytches, clubs, molly's to the exclusion of everything else--- these niqqas rapping like Mitt Romney, and could care less about furthering the art, making good quality music, and preserving the culture. Imma brace myself for all the "why should black rappers make music for broke niqqas....stop hating....they can do what they want, dont make them make music only you care about!!!!!" rah, rah.
