that's easy to say but her fight or flight instinct probably kicked in (don't even ask me how...)

I had a situation once with a young lady I was working on smashing.

We sitting up at her crib in the middle of the day shooting the breeze, and she gets this random azz knock at the door.

I knew she had a guy she had kinda just came out of a relationship with, but I didn't put two and two together.

She looks at me and I look at her, I ask if she is expecting company and she says nah. She goes and glances out the window and says it's and so so's car. The same so and so I know as her ex.

I told her to answer it. I hear them talking at the door and it's slightly cracked and he is bugging about her not answering his calls and some other minor shyt. I stepped to the door and ask her are you cool right in front of him. She says yes I'm fine and I then turn made eye contact with him a second or two, he didn't say anything nor did I, and I then walked back in the house.

Their dialogue carried on another 2-3 minutes and she returns talking about so and so is tripping.

Meanwhile I'm like then I start thinking I hope this nicca doesn't ride up the road, get to thinking about what just happened, and come back and try to start no shyt.

I'm was out in the middle of the backwoods, and this nicca might have that heat with him and I don't have anything but my hands.

Needless to say I was very careful the rest of my time with her there that evening. Old boy did not come back nor did he try to start any shyt, I seen old boy a few more times after that when I was out solo.

There was some obvious tension there, but he did not say or do anything disrespectful.

If he would have came back that day looking for drama I would have had to do what I had to do. People ain't as quick to get buck with you when they know you not scared of them though.

Regardless of what they say most niccas don't like confrontation either that's why they run and try to go get guns when shyt gets hectic instead of squaring up toe to toe.

I'm not the toughest guy, but I'm no wimp either. I'm not going to go looking for drama or disrespect any one, but if a man wants to take it there I'll let him know I'm no pushover.

PS, I did end up smashing that young lady weeks later.
