Me either..never have. Suddenly though? Detailed oriented? Thats the thing about rape..the power in that situation is them always being quiet and not speaking up enough.
I don't think a rapist knows whether someone is going to immediately go to the police or wait 20 years.
I've heard a few stories of rapists who targeted the area, and got off (not literally) on seeing the stories about them in the paper and on the news. Much like the arsonist who stands and watches the fire in the crowd of witnesses and onlookers.
Not like they want to get caught but they are excited by being sought.
I definitely don't think that's the case with most rapists. I think rape is multifaceted and can be broken down into a few different categories. You have the rapist, the one that wants power, is abusive, don't care for his victim. Then you have the non direct rapist. This could be a boyfriend who's to eager to fukk, someone who doesn't have malicious intent, someone who may care for or have some feeling toward the person they unintentionally made their victim. This could be the guy who thinks he has the go ahead, or didn't read the signals right, he kisses the woman and she's like "

what are you doing?", this could be the guy who's drunk and has sex with a drunk female and next day or morning she's like "I didn't want to have sex".
I didn't watch this woman's claim. So I don't know what she claimed he did. Id rather this be handled behind closed doors then be informed afterwards. This is more "entertainment" than it is news.
