Good read.

House music is a part of our fukking musical legacy as Black folks

We should've never let it go

It's disheartening to read about another generation of Black folks getting screwed out of their genius material by CACs, but hopefully all of those dudes will get the rights back to their music and at least some of their money from that CAC bytch that the original CAC left his money too.

I'm no fan of a lot of newer hip-hop, but at least newer rappers get PAID. They don't appear to be letting these CACs run their pockets like all those old nikkaz. :francis:

It's funny that this popped up. I was watching YouTube docs of the origins of House. A lot of the pioneers were kids (teenagers) who were happy that their records were being heard.
