i’m looking at the bigger picture. what are democrats doing to ensure we don’t have this kind of legislation even come up for a vote? what is the party doing to oust republicans and secure a super majority? democrats can put together a comprehensive package that directly appeals to black america and render republicans irrelevant. we have the numbers in those states that matter, with the capacity for a turnout that ensures republicans never hold the white house or congress.
this isn’t a #bothsides argument. it is an honest question concerning the focus of democrats. what is their goal? who are they appealing to? what legislative purpose does the party presently serve?
