PAT 2 HTown
If the conference does dissolve ku and isu will likely go Big Ten. Okie St and Tech to the PAC. KSU probably to a G5. TCU to the mountain west wouldn't surprise me but maybe the PAC takes them. I don't think the PAC accepts religious schools so Baylor may have to beg the ACC who will also likely take WVU.

The B1G/Iowa needs to swallow their pride and take Kansas & Iowa State. They are both AAU, ISU is great in the big money revenue sports and KU has their legendary basketball program. It makes geographical sense too.

I'm hoping the PAC changes its position in adding Big XII teams or the ACC takes WVU. Assuming the B1G takes Kansas & ISU, you only need 2 more teams to allow the dissolution of the conference to take place without penalty.

If it doesn't happen then, Texas & OU will wait this out, then the other schools will be fukked come 2024.

They can merge with the AAC (which isn't a bad idea).

:yeshrug:
Zero.chance the west coast wants TCU or Baylor. Baylor does fit the case for being 16 team for the ACC.

I can see OSU, KSU, TCU, and TT needing luck

ACC will strongly consider Baylor
For who? For what? If they were to bring in a Christian university from Texas they have to consider TCU first. At least they’re in a market to justify it. Baylor isn’t cared for outside Waco and adjacent areas

They add nothing of value. If them bumpkins on Tobacco Road care about its academics. WVA standards are extremely low for admission plus who cares about getting the Morgantown/Charleston TV market. ACC didn’t make a play for them the first time they were available

Wrong
Baylor has a medical center which fits the ACC.
Highly academic
Sport success.
National champs at Basketball. Top 10 team in Football.

TCU don't really have what the ACC generally covets. Baylor does

You are actually right about this one. West Virginia sadly is going to stick in the Big 12 or if it dissolves, they are going to the AAC with Kansas State.

Texas Tech and Oklahoma State might have a shot at the PAC 12.

It's always a great game regardless. And just being a traditional in-state rival school it's always fun.

Oklahoma State has been a really good team for the past decade or so. They could really flourish in the Pac12 IMO. Any of the past several years they're better than anyone Pac12 other than maybe Oregon.

The PAC is stubborn & picky though... They didn't want us or the other schools then... They may not want them now.

Only team that makes sense is West Va. Other than that everyone else is geographically nonsensical. West Va never made sense for B12 geographically
