If you take Bama out, I still think the SEC fields an annual top 3-4 team this decade. The only seasons I would think maybe not is 2015 and 16. Those scrubs in Athens and us were almost as good as them in 2017, UGA would’ve been top 2 going into the offs if they didn’t exist, LSU and Auburn were better in 2019, Florida would’ve probably made the offs if they hypothetically were to get a SEC CG bump not featuring Alabama. I don’t think the SEC needs Alabama to be the SEC, and hopefully they bounce to the NFL

I think his coaching will be fine since he can primarily worry only about the offense. Our DC hire wasn't a splash name but he is a top DC. And we have the talent, coaching has been the bigger issue. In the last 2 years are so we were routinely losing games by a TD or less. Texas isn't as far off as people think.
Coaching specifically on game day has been a huge issue throughout both Charlie and Tom's tenures. But coaching in general has been our problem which coincides with development. Hopefully we have finally hired the right coach.
It'll be much sooner that '25. Most likely by next year and '23 at the latest.
