Nah, he had built OSU at the time so the transition was a lot smoother. Florida was a "broken program" when Urban left, literally in shambles. The lack of continuity and leadership in the coaching staff just fukked over UF.

Georgia only got 1 more SEC title and two more appearances than Missouri since they joined, Florida got the same titles and one more appearance It ain’t crazy at all that OU and UT hops 93% of the conference

Mizzou benefited from UF and UGA going through turmoil - they haven't sniffed the SECCG since 2014 and are totally irrelevant in the east. These aren't the tea leaves you want to read - UGA recruits at an elite level now and Florida has been good under Mullen. Since Mizzou has been in the East they have won 0 championships, OU and Texas () aren't going to leapfrog the established powers unless you're saying they'll beat Alabama.

UF, UGA, A&M and LSU are in a tier below Alabama and their seasons will ride on being able to beat them - Oklahoma will fit right in there in all likelihood.

I had hopes for both Herman but he made the same mistake as Strong hiring his staff which is basically underwhelming. Hiring Tim Beck was going to be a disaster. Then other problems during his tenure came from personal to professional and it led to what happened.
