Don’t try to ditch those schools on us. If they were desirable, they would have got taken from the Big 12 a long time ago. They bring nothing of value to the conference and we don’t need the Iowa and Kansas market. If the Big 10 could, they would kick Nebraska out for being underwhelming and losing their AAU status.
So... Are you one of the folks that think the B1G can poach USC, Oregon, ect from the PAC or complete a whole merger? This is some of the BS I've been seeing on the internet.
Kansas is AAU with a blue blood basketball program. That is impressive because generally football funds the other low revenue sports.
ISU is also AAU. Their engineering schools is among the best outside of MIT & Georgia Tech. Their AD has transformed their athletic department in all sports.
The folks at B1G are morons if they don't take KU and ISU.
Their NBC contract is a huge reason why
But if this new landscape has them on the outside lookin in with the playoffs then they'll have no choice

Notre Dame will almost always get the benefit of the doubt- I don't think they need the ACC. I also imagine the playoffs will expand to 8 teams, ND will be a practical shoe in every year.

but ND plays in the ACC for everything else full time. They don't want to do Big 10 for some odd reason and we know they aint' doing the SEC, sooooo.....
