DeRozan would be plan C if you can't get any of the top rumored guys mentioned.

If the trade is Cam and salary filler...
:manny:

Y'all would still have enough defense you insulate DeMar and you would add a legitimate closer and scoring option that you just do not have.

Everyone had their shortcomings but I won't allow this thread to devolve into any badmouthing outside of Jalen, since he is trash with the Rockets and only worried about nails and thots.
Everyone has room to grow within the organization sans his bytch ass :camby:
Basically where I’m leaning. FVV gave you 3 big games where you knew he wanted to win, and directly led to forcing a game 7. I’m not trying to hear shyt about a guy that gave you one good game, was told to “go paint your nails” by Draymond, and he’s response was getting his nails painted and being MIA. Do that Jalen/Austin Reeves swap and keep it moving.

Even if they don't get rid of him until the trade dead line, restrict the fukk out his minutes for others to grow. I literally don't know of any other player that shrank more than him ever. I'm so fukking disgusted with that nikka...
I don't fukk with fans messing with players outside the game but him, full exception, he needs to feel as unwelcome in this city as possible. shyt, that would help him grow on his next team. Win win for everyone

He couldn’t come up small when his role was to play a lesser contributor on offense and to focus more on defense

They played “Jalen ball” only in game 2 when he came out hot and jimmy butler also got injured

Seems like every game plan was different as the series went on

Van fleet got hot for the last few games and The Thompson twin had a nice game 7

Other than that the offense was heavy on Segun and attacking the paint

Jalen green wasn’t part of the equation or he was playing limited minutes for most the series

He didn’t have the opportunity to come up big because Ime wasn’t dependent on him being a scorer
Shut the fukk up.

Not a terrible alternative if you can't make other moves happen. I get DeMar gets hate but he's still a bucket and won't cost much.

Also, is it a given that Houston wants to trade Jalen anyway???

DeRozan is not a winner.

Jalen should have his house on the market yesterday.

You do know that Jalen value is at it lowest point. Vent but be reasonable. No team is taking him on at without added sweeteners. It would be detrimental to the team to trade him. He has negative value. Let him build his value up during the season

GSW said after game 7 their defensive goal and strategy was to never let Jalen go off. They were content with letting Sengun be the guy because his low percentage twos were never goin to beat them. That’s why Kerr was so smug and disrespectful in his huddle. Draymond, Moody and and Kerr all said that. Kerr said the tape
Showed that the most dangerous version of the rockets was when Jalen was allowed to be dynamic. They weren’t afraid of brooks threes, Amens intangibles, or Sengun 2’s. GOAT broke it down between game 6 and 7 that the goal for GSW through out the series was to make life as difficult as possible for Green. I think Green helped them do that.

With that said you have to retool. Sengun was terrible this series. He was jsut as bad as Jalen . His ts was worse than Jalen’s. And Jalen was terrible so that says a lot about Sengun play.

I would trade either personally. I would upgrade the other spots around. Upgrade from FVV and upgrade from Brooks. Brooks was the main reason that Hield went off. he wasn’t respecting his shot. His close outs were slow late and erratic.

Replace FVV with Coby White, and Brooks with Cam Johnson. Sign Grimes

The fact that you actually believe the BS you’re typing by is 1 thing, but this “he was just as bad as Jalen” nonsense is pure garbage. You Green-apologists refuse to accept the fact that he’s not special. He hid in the corner waiting for the ball while guys like Sengun, Thompson, Eason, Fred and Adams battled. You’re talking about true shooting percentages like anyone gives a damn. The EYE test as someone who was there tells me that he punked out. Sengun struggled while having one of the best defenders in the NBA on him….and he kept battling. He wasn’t afraid of the moment. His willingness to keep going at Draymond and others despite the struggles says this is a guy I can count on to go to war. Amen went to war. Everyone that played went to war…with the exception of Green.

Miss me with this “I’m would trade either of them” crap. We all know that’s a lie. Just say you love Green and don’t want to see him moved.

Drag the another player down to prop up your guy. Damn thread is as ridiculous as Clutchfans.

I wouldn’t trade either if it was up to me. I think they both jsut had a rough series for their introduction to the playoffs. They had highs and they had (more)lows. But then you have to take into consideration that GSW is probably the best defensive team in the postseason.

I been on record all season criticizing Ime for his ugly offense. The spacing is terrible. Jabari shot great from the perimeter in the series despite never really getting a clean look in the offense. It was usually a contested perimeter or a good look off a broken play or offensive rebound.

I think the best things that Houston can do this off-season outside of getting Giannis is upgrade Brooks and FVV ie the other two starting spots. And then bring in another sixth man if ime doesn’t plan on developing/playing Cam or Reed.
