The bread
The garlic aioli
They marinate the chicken overnight then cook it in a sauce
Chicken breast and thigh options
Plate lunches with jambalaya too
:wow:

Burgers are literally the start of "Fast Food". You could have a like 20 of them cooking on a griddle at once. Everything else you mention except for hot dogs s take wayyy longer to prepare the same quantity. And hot dogs were wildly popular for the same reasons.

FACTS :banderas: damn I just had flashbacks. I was a regular at the one on Fremont for years back when I lived there

Readily available, always good tasting. Aka the Pizza of sandwhiches....even if you have a bad* one, its still a burger. Also, its the most sold meat product for a reason...it literally goes on anything, a chopped cheese is always delicious, most beef being chuck (which has a ton of flavor) is always devoured. So; Cheap + Flavorful = most consumed.

The simplicity of cooking a patty is underrated. Packaging, transport, scalability like McDonald's all that shyt. That's why I dont get people paying $20-$30 for a burger because it's gourmet. If it's some high quality meat then I don't want it in ground up

There are better sandwiches than a burger but a burger is a burger.

Burgers are consistent for the most part and easy to make. The food posted in OP have a higher degree of difficulty to make and are not consistent. More expensive too.

Facts.:russ:

A bad cheesesteak might have you mad for a week straight. shyt might even turn into a vendetta against that store for life. A bad burger is like:manny:

I believe a burger may have been born out of the depression. It was originally intended as a cheap meal where one could get their meat, lettuce, and bread all in one sitting.

Everyone's palette is different. People like a lot of things. Some makes sense while others don't.

Fast food burgers are different than BBQ burgers than Restaurant gourmet burgers than Eddie Murphy's Mama's homemade burgers, etc...

They be @ the bottom of OP's sammich totem pole but may be @ the top of another person's sammich totem pole.

Palettes aren't monolithic!
