The simplicity of cooking a patty is underrated. Packaging, transport, scalability like McDonald's all that shyt. That's why I dont get people paying $20-$30 for a burger because it's gourmet. If it's some high quality meat then I don't want it in ground up

I believe a burger may have been born out of the depression. It was originally intended as a cheap meal where one could get their meat, lettuce, and bread all in one sitting.

I thought I read from poker games...old cacs wanting to eat a steak with one hand while playing cards so they just put beef on bread.
