-Indiana Danny Granger adds nothing to this Pacers. Him and George reach a place of redundancy at this point. Thats if Granger even comes back from his knee which is no guarantee. There are trades for PGs out there to make, or possibly for a PF if West leaves.
-Chicago maxed out their chances in 2011 and 2012. The team as is isnt competition for Miami. Now exploring deals for Boozer and Deng, giving Jimmy Butler a prominent role, having a genuine "#2" to Rose could give hope.
-Knicks Hell No. Now age is a factor with Amare and Chandler, along with their substantial mileage. Curious to see how they keep Melo around. Theres no young player with real potential to hold out hope for.
-Lakers Too old and unathletic. Can they possibly fix that? Kobe and World Peace cant possibly be a starting wing duo in todays NBA. ADD THAT WITH NASH? The slowest defensive trio one can conceive. And they wonder why they were 8th seed lol
-Thunder Durant and Westbrook can continue to get better as players, but theyre remarkably similar to Miami, without having any real advantage over them to exploit.
-Spurs Had their last stand thanks to Westbrook's knee. A last stand was a last stand. Its over.
-Clippers If they complete the Celtics West, then you have a team that would be Miami's biggest threat, though they are relying on KG 19 year, and Pierce 16 year legs, but neither player have to carry the load on a nightly basis.
