I've been doing this shyt on photoshop but every time I upload it to the coli, that shyt come out too small. I've been playing around with resizing the image but it always comes out too small. I even saved one of the default coli smilies and reuploaded it and that mf was smaller than the original :dwillhuh:

Is the coli resizing custom smilies and making them smaller? Tf going on?

Yes I read all the OG threads on DIY smilies. I know how to make them but they're always too small. And yes, I posted a thread in the Event Staff forum but that shyt is a ghost town. Any help would be appreciated and repped

I followed your steps and the result is still too small. :snoop:

Here's what I'm doing:

Open new document in PS
Select a 1920x1080 blank Canvas
Delete white background to make it transparent
import my image
resize the height to 80 pixels
the the width automatically locks to 80 pixels as well
Resolution at 300
Crop Image
Save as PNG
Upload to Coli
and here's the result:

:2:

Too small. Look at the comparison in sizes: :2: :umad:

I always let it scale automatically.

In photoshop
Crop to edges
image tab
Image size
Set dropdown to pixels
Lock width and height
Set height to somewhere between 80-100
Save as png

I dropped it in photoshop and it says it's only 50x50px

What site are you hosting your images to? Check the file you exported and double check that it's not the 50x50 that I'm seeing

If that's not the issue, I'm not sure what's going on so we'll just have to experiment

Try doing all your editing without cropping and resizing until you're finished making your image. Once you're done, select the crop tool, crop to it's edges, and then do the image resize thing. This is my workflow.

Here's what my settings look like:

Changing my resolution to your 300 didn't seem to make any difference for me

Also, how are you saving your image?

I don't export, rather I Save As Copy > Save as PNG

Seems like you followed all the steps I use. Check your saved file properties and see if your hosting site is messing with the size. Are you using imgur?
