I dont think he's coming back yet, they'll have him do the WWE 2k17 promo right up to the release in october/november and they'll make overtures for a legends deal (Merch on wweshop, mattel figure) and a Hall of Fame induction and then they'll see about a one time Mania match with Brock (which naturally will be Brock getting his win back mailing it in with him being ragdolled for 17 suplexes and Brock no selling the spear)

He is just selling a video game. They did the samething with Warrior when he was in the game for the first time (though goldberg has been in the 2k series reguarly).

I doubt WWE would offer goldberg terms that would interest him (make me champ and give me more money than brock)
