They play in an NFL stadium... the facilities goes back to the Alumni. I don't get how none of them give back? Numerous NFL players current and past could have easily took care of that problem.

- stadium is 25 minutes from campus and is empty for most games

- their facilities are trash

- small private school, so their alumni base just isn't there in terms of the big money boosters

- a typical 18 year old recruit wasn't around to see The U, he saw Kyle Wright and Robert Mavre... that tradition is irrelevant in his eyes, they've sucked ever since he can remember

They cant fill the stadium and apparently its far from the campus. And just because its an NFL stadium, doesnt mean its a good stadium.

- can't defend that :manny:

- a lot of the alumni (current and former NFL players) should've contributed to that if they really cared about the program.

- their football alumni base is strong enough.

- a typical 18 year old recruit that watches the NFL should see enough former players like Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Devin Hester, Michael Irvin, etc. If they watch ESPN in then they should have seen the 30 for 30 piece as well.

It's just sad to me that's all.

That stadium is in Miami Gardens. I was there over the holidays in Broward County. I was closer to Sun Life than when I was in downtown Miami.

Stadium is ass too. Having a stadium nearby campus is such a major key to things. The U doesn't have that.

The city probably regrets building Marlins Park, but in a perfect world, Sun Life woulda got thrown to bushes, built a new football stadium on the old Orange Bowl site, and Marlins Park is built on Miami Gardens instead.

You stay with a Miami diss thread on deck. Didn't you make that "pains me to see the state of the U" thread meanwhile Va. Tech was gettin blasted every week :beli:

I shyt on my Hokies even more. I've been calling for Frank Beamers head for a minute. Va Tech sucks because they fail to dominate Virginia in recruiting. They let UVA get 4 star recruits.

And the shytted on Sean Glennon's career so bad that his brother went to NC State. They failed to get Boyd and EJ Green. Tyrod Taylor could've had a great career but they messed that up too.

I pound Miami out of respect. Tech vs. Miami was a dope rivalry and it's just sad to see the state of my school and Miami.
