Faith is faith. When it comes to "religion", most people base their faith on their culture (way of life) that was passed down to them from their parents/guardians/family they follow without hesitation, but some change faith when they grow up, some don't. In their minds, their faith is fact and others are shaky or wrong. Many people change religions/cultures because they do the "science" and discover things in their faith they don't agree with, so they seek agreement by checking out other religions/cultures. No one knows if their faith is fact, but you can't tell them that it isn't.
