How can I post Youtube Links that don't show the video?

I made a thread in The Ring that's full of links, mostly YouTube. Now I can't even get inside of it because my laptop can't handle loading everything (even though I put everything in spoiler tags). I think it's because of all of the YouTube links.

Is there anyway to post YouTube links without the vids also popping up? Is there anything else I can do for reducing major lag/freezing when I make threads with a lot of links?

My thinking is that if the YouTube link (or any video link for that matter) doesn't automatically post as a embedded video, then loading times would not be affected...

So how do I do that?

You can type out a description of the video, then highlight it & click the hyperlink button & paste the Youtube link like this

And if you right click on the videos title (from like the search screen), copy link and paste, you'll get the link(This method only work on Desktop for me, so use the other one for mobile):

Yeah, all the youtube videos embedded is probably slowing your computer down, link to thread? I'll turn some of them into links so you can get back in the thread.

Yeah, if you paste just the link from copying only the link, i'll embed it. But if you copy the link from the title, it copies that too and posts it as just the link

Still can't get in that thread though, my laptop is like

I changed the first two posts to just links, see if you can get in now. It might be the combination of the spoilers fukking it up too because this thread has 46 embedded Youtube videos on the first page & it loads up fine for me Let's make a playlist of Rick Ross tracks that exudes opulence , your thread loaded for me, but took a couple seconds.
