Start by being more optimistic and in a couple of weeks to a couple of months, you'll change your thought patterns

It doesn't happen overnight so most people usually give up after a couple of days

Distancing yourself from people who are pessimistic and surrounding yourself with optimistic people also

Find something to believe in (not just talking religion) and let that motivate you.

Think of happy shyt. shyt man I hate the job I'm currently at, but it allows me time to reflect on the things that've made me happy in life, memories I've made with friends and strangers, and keeps my mind on the motivations I have to never work a job like this as a career.
