Even though this is a dumbass thread and it clearly wouldn't be an upgrade, a trade like this might be more beneficial to their title chances as Howard comes off contract next season (DeAndre's signed until 2019). They then can use that cap space for a credible wing and a 5 that can block shots/protect the rim - without overpaying for one like they're doing right now with DJ.
