We are not realizing at this point it's not really negotiable unless you have a superior natural talent in art, cooking, social networking or some other kind of alternative career if not the trades (which not everyone can hack it in). There are only a couple of things you can do as a citizen in America and be self-sufficient and thrive. And if you don't like any of the choices your only option is to fail and starve or emigrate.

I had that happened to me; I transferred with a 2.99 which is 0.01 percent away from a 3.0, I was mad because they did not let me get an scholarship, they said I could transfer back to my juco and do another semester to get a 3.0 . I did get a 3.0 my first semester and applied and they said you can't recieve one because you have to first start school with a 3.0 and you can not work your way up to one.

But to say college is a scam; it's the cost and the benefits after graduating you have to look at. The economy is shytty; so going to school right now will cost more because very few companies are hiring and when they hire it's low pay. A 50k job back in 2004 is now a 30k job and the cost of living is going up.

brehs need to realize that if they weren't buff or tall they really wouldn't be going to college. cause athletes be dumb as fukk son, this one athlete i knew back in high school barely graduated nikka had 9th grade classes while in 12th grade. but they let him graduate and he went on to college just to fail and lose his scholarship

You've gotta look up the independent scholarships; those provided by such-and-such foundation etc. If you could talk to the enrollment department they usually have a list of those. Alternatively, you can go online and see which scholarships you can apply for.
