How come I sleep like 12-14 hours a day and im still tired

You oversleep, when you oversleep it just makes you tired. You should sleep like 7-9 hours at night and only nap for 30 minutes to an hour.

your brain releases hormones when you sleep

too much sleep, more hormones

too little, less

ideally you sleep 7-8 get the right amount
