Little known fact Dee Jay was actually created by Capcom USA and not Japan even though Japan wasn't any better back then.

Japan has been redeeming themselves on the fighting game tip the last 10 years or so tho especially Bandai Namco. We finally got a black woman in an SNK game after almost 30 years.
