I mean I know winning 72 games the year before is :mindblown:, but it's always overlooked that 97 bulls went and won 69 games the next season. on top of that, they could have won 70+ again that season if they didn't lose 3 of the final 4 games of the season that year. On top of that, this team still won a ship anyways.

its the middle child of the 2nd 3-peat:yeshrug:

Only thing memorable about that season is the "Flu Game". The Brian Williams (Bison Dele) pickup at the end of the season pretty much cemented the repeat. You had the real return of MJ in 96 and the end of MJ in 98 which makes the 97 season seem small when you think about it...
