When you've been told you aren't beautiful for 400 years this is gonna happen. What is the other solution?Because light skin people are generally not insecure about having light skin. Whenever a dark skin model is given props it’s almost always with an unspoken subtext of “aww see dark is beautiful too” whereas light skin you almost have to downplay as if to say “her skin adds nothing, she’d be beautiful dark too”.
It's two things.
1. The assumption that all darkskin people think lightskin is better.
2. dikk policing.
You only ever see dark skin men get the self-hate label for dating lighter people and it's because of c00n rappers saying stupid shyt in their lyrics.
In reality, you don't see light skin women with dark skin men like that. It's usually the other way around.
Also in reality, nobody actually gives a shyt. People mostly talk about it online.

. I just talked about my brother's wife in a recently bushed post and she is the same way about their children.
