How come skin bleaching never became big in black America like it did in Africa & the Caribbean?

It’s NOT ALLOWED in America, this is common knowledge :what:

Lemme leave this here before the pseudo-anthropologists gather

Does the FDA regulate the sale of skin lightening products with hydroquinone or mercury?

Skin lightening products containing hydroquinone are NOT approved for over-the-counter sale. FDA LINK: Skin Product Safety

These Diaspora War baiting threads are pure KOONERY

Skin bleaching products were also used to lighten spots that would get dark from the intensive heat

Alas, the tweet is pathetic as it’s a problem regardless.. doesn’t matter who’s “handling it” better

Because black Americans can adapt cac culture such as vocal tones (caccent) music media movies ideologies politics etc. they can morph into a c00n and blend in and be seen as white (Kanye and Candace owens)

It wouldn't have worked, you can pretty much tell if a person is bleaching or not.
We already had paper bag test, "my family got indian in it", and generational debarge families. a bleacher would have got no respect and probably shamed here. in short other forms of colorism and self hate already got locked into the culture before bleaching caught on
