True, but that dopeman could also be the one to keep that kid on the path of righteousness. Bad parents aren't always "bad people" either.

That's my point, the dopeman is indicative of greater problems within the community. Drugs are sold everywhere in America, but there aren't hoods everywhere. That's why I'm saying your oversimplifying this, there are far more factors at play than some selfish nikkas tryna make quick cash

Im absolutely not. Suppose we suddenly flooded hoods with 9-5 $8 an hour jobs. Sure people aint ballin, but they making an honest living and doing what they can. Some people will STILL sell, and thats the problem I have with it. Why is the onus on us, the sensible people, to educate them about our societies issues? Why can't the drug dealers step up? The biggest issue is lack of accountability. We can't expect better if at every turn we do worse to and for ourselves. We aint eating like we should, fine, but you don't let the ants in your kitchen slide simply because there is a cake on the table.

I agree, but "Do what I say, no what I do" rarely ever succeeds as a life lesson, or we wouldnt have young girls outdoing their mother in getting pregnant as early as possible, or young boys emulating whomever they see getting the most "respect" on the day to day. Had I emulated my father, I would have been in the gang shyt too. Instead, I stayed a square, and got picked on and ostracized for most of my young life as a result. Meanwhile the knuckleheads got the respect. Sure, they are products of the environment, but they ARE part of the problem now, and make it harder on anyone else trying to stay sensible and balanced.

because majority of the black/latino community think street dudes are some type of savior in the community and especially the women in the hood would give them nikkas a passed any day of the week over a responsible man in the hood..

You're not really describing c00ns, you're just describing people who lack morals. If I started serving fiends where I live, it's to make money at the expense of others, they could be black, white, fukking polka-dotted for all I care, as long as I'm making money fukk em.
