how come the ps3 doesn't support audio through headset?

Pretty stupid in my opinion. I want to play scary games through headphones but PS3 doesn't support it. Not through bluetooth or through USB.

Only thing it can do is for mic purposes. That's useless to me.

yes it does, what headset you got breh.
go to accessory settings, then audio device settings.

or you gotta change your audio output from HDMI to optical if you going that route.
