Because barbed wire plus somebody like Dolph Ziggler going over the top stealing the show will end up with someone seriously hurt. Hell back in the original ECW after Sabu and Terry Funk had their Barbed Wire Match insanity, Paul Heyman got so shooked that he vowed never to have another Barbed Wire Match again and they didn't. Leave that to the japanese leagues.
