How Come Ty Dolla $ign Can't Make Top 10 Hits?

He makes great hooks, makes music over good beats and his voice is good too (no homo).

My question is what is missing?

Is music really at such a low point we can't appreciate records like these that would otherwise be timeless records?

As a massive fan of his I can tell you first hand he has a lot of amazing records and has incredible song-writing ability. He lacks connection with fans though. He seems aloof in interview and hasn’t got a story that many people buy into so his shyt never pops off.

I fukk with son heavy though. I’ve seen him perform here in London too. Great performer.

I agree, he's underappreciated but I was just saying he has some hits. Top 10 wasn't the criteria that was set when you made this thread.

There's nothing that separates him from the pack from a fans perspective. Singing about the same things as everyone else, vocally isn't a notch above anyone.

Top 10 is what I think of when I think hit but I will be more specific since your not the only one who said that.

I disagree, his song writing is better then most artist today for sure and that's what he is great at.

I think the problem is people just don't appreciate that now a days.

Do you really realize how hard it is to craft top 10 hit singles?

Even stargate can't do that every time out.
