If a 20 year old black kid had shot up a elementary school in Harlem, ya'll know we would've heard endless talk about violence being endemic in black culture. Instead of blaming the shooter and praising the victims, ya'll woulda heard crakkkas saying that the black community basically asked for this because of their glorification of violence in rap music. You know that rappers would immediately get called into hearing for Congress to explain themselves.
But when white people commit atrocities, its just blame the individual. White privilege is being able to always be viewed as an individual. Minorities don't have that ability. Anything we do is instantly associated with everyone else in our community.
