How come X dont have stans like Nas and Jay?

real talk if it wasnt for X we wouldnt have any hard street music after big died well out here in the east...matter of fact i think he was the last one from that era that put out real street music. while jay z and nas was in their transition period moment X was still putting out that music for the hood.I know he was on his bs with the drugs and things but damm ****** just dont even mention him when it comes to top anything. Dont forget he beat jay in a battle also.

DMX has a lot of fans in his corner, I doubt you'll find too many people who hate on him for no reason, but you can't stan him. He had 2 great albums a 3rd very good one and the rest were average to below average, he doesn't have the longevity (not putting out critically acclaimed music nor putting out hits like nas and jay), plus he fukked his career with prison and drugs. All you can do is respect him for being a real nikka and making some great music early on

3 years X came out in 1996 and was relevent until bout 2005 and yeah i can dig it nas and jay has way passed him but im just saying cant forget the work he put in i got X in my top 10 -15 easy

His first album came out in 98 and the last time people cared about him was in 2003 and it was average but still better than The Great Depression which had a title fitting for his musical abilities at the time. So I meant to say 5-6 years not 3. To put in perspective, Ross and Jeezy has been poppin for about 8 years since their debut albums.
