Allah removes sins from people as they are put through his hardships so that they go through hardships in this life and not the much more severe punishments in the afterlife. Also, Allah puts people through trials so that they give up their misguided and sinful ways and come to his straight path of righteousness. Also, when we see someone that has less than us, we become thankful to our Lord for what he has blessed us with. Me personally, when I have a lot of money, I tend to eat out a lot and gain weight, so when my money is tight, I avoid over eating. Also, when your low on money, it is something that causes you to pray to Allah for sustenance so that you spend it upon Truth and obey him (praying to Allah, without intermediaries is one of the most righteous acts a person can do). These are just some benefits that come to mind. And Allah knows best.what is that reason?
okay so i get that he puts ugly/poor people through testsAllah removes sins from people as they are put through his hardships so that they go through hardships in this life and not the much more severe punishments in the afterlife. Prophet Muhammad (Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said (English translation) The majority of the inhabitants of Paradise are the poor people of this life.

Very good question. Yes, the ones that are blessed with a lot of money (just as one example) are in fact being tested by Allah with that money. Will they give to the poor? Will they spend upon their family? Will they spend that money upon sinfulness. Basically, will they be thankful to Allah for the wealth he has blessed them with. Life is a test from Allah. During the difficult times you are supposed to have patience, and during the Times of ease you are supposed to be thankful, in order to pass your tests. After every difficulty there comes ease in this life. And Allah knows best.okay so i get that he puts ugly/poor people through tests
but what about attractive/rich people? are they also being tested, and what is their reward? logically, if they pass their tests then they would be rewarded twice, once in this life and once in the afterlife, that just doesn't seem fair

You should read the Quran at www.thenoblequran.com I'm pretty sure Allah tells us why, but I don't want to mis quote the Almighty, out of fear of him.but why?
what's the point? what does he get out of testing people?
