Didn’t really notice until this thread.. tbh. But I think that’s just his voice sounding all nasally when he was trying to rap... That was the rap style for some for a min, back then. Listen to this from 1:00, then listen to Grand Puba, Kwame, etc

It's funny because Al B made good music and I got some on my iPod, but he had a bunch of cringe worthy moments back then. Lipsinging, weird facial expressions and dancing. He was just an ackward dude in general.

Yeah Slick Rick had a lot of biters. Al B Sures speaking voice sounded nothing like that so he was going out of his way to sound like Rick.
Will Smith even had some Slick Rick'ish type songs. The delivery and subject matter on this joint was La Di Da Di influenced
