Jay on the Blueprint rapped perfectly over those beats. He went in lyrically when appropriate and just flowed effortlessly and said real shyt when it was required. Everyone knows that as far as straight bars it wasn't his most lyrical album, but it doesn't have to be in order for it to be great. Look at his verses on the "Murder" part of Murder to Excellence, it had the same effect without attempting to be over the top lyrical. That is basically what Blueprint Jay was throughout except on the U Don't Knows, Lyrical Exercises, etc. Think about how quotable that album is, and you'll get the picture.
As far as WTT Jay not going off lyrically, no one with ears says that. They just hate the production and the person so they don't listen. But come on, please enough with these type of threads. Cot damn. You know damn well it will lead to the same "copied and pasted" opinions. I don't know why you base popular opinion off of theColi.
