How did Bo Dallas go from NXT champ to a comic jobber?

Dude was NXT champ for a decent amount of time, was a good heel there, and comes from a good wrestling family.

Then he gets called up....to be an immediate jobber. I get that he's out of shape a bit, but hey so is his brother.

But then again Big E was NXT champ too and his career isn't exactly on main event road anymore

That's my man but he's not main event material. Maybe a IC or US contender, but he's entertaining in his role as a jobber to the top stars.

He could be a decent mid card heel if they knew how to push him. He didn't have to be a immediate joke and having R-Truth break his streak was stupid. Dude could be someone folks don't take serious like Honky Tonk Man or Dan from Street Fighter but then when he REALLY wants to win he shows a mean streak. Could have worked.

Not all wrestlers need to be great in ring workers. There's room for dudes who excel in other areas and Dallas can get people to hate him. The funny thing is people were chanting "Bo-lieve" and "We bo-lieve" when he was on the main roster so he had some fans. They just lose interest in people quick in WWE, unless it's the dudes/chicks they REALLY like.

Honestly Brock could have broken Taker's, Rusev's and Bo's streak. Rusev and Bo would have benefited from having a longer streak and Brock vs. Rusev could have been a good feud too. Rusev with Lana(not the Rusev with Summer) and Brock of course with Heyman, obviously Cesaro should have feuded with Brock when Zeb Coulter was his manager. Hell, Swagger too.

in all actuality when things start rotating around im sure he'll get his shot to shine, but rightnow hes barrett status but not in a bad way. Hes filling that Buff Bagwell role nicely. I think hed make a great henchman to Rollins right now
