The entire movement has a conservative basis - ideally, they long for a mythical patriarchal society imbued with ‘traditional’ masculinity

Which is funny/sad for black male adherents to this ideology because the pre-Sexual Revolution/2nd Wave feminism United States was essentially Jim Crow.

If white men manage to turn the clock on gender, you think they won’t on race?

Because all that shyt has one thing in common: upset men who feel the world owes them

Yeah, and thats not really the only overlap either.

It's kind of an easy pivot to go from manosphere shyt into conservative misogyny etc etc. They are REALLY fukking close together.

It's possible to have one without the other, but its going to be pretty rare. There's plenty of men who work on themselves, their character, their careers and self improvement, without veering into the hard right wing hateful shyt. They probably just don't bother labeling themselves "red pill" because of the baggage those terms come with due to the right wing machine co-opting it.

It is what it is.

Conservative think tanks basically exploited thier hatred of feminism to push them to the booth and pull the lever for anyone with an R next to their name.

Steve Bannon and that Milo laid the blue print during the gamer gate saga. Once that audience is captured you can make their world smaller and smaller by making them hate other "out groups".
