How did Gandalf the Grey Come Back to Life?

What?

Could he bring other people back to life?

What about other Wizards who died, why didn't they come back (stronger than ever at that)?



I still love all 3 movies, I just never understood that............

What wizard's died? There were only five and they weren't really "humanish" to begin with.

He didn't actually die, he was called back to where he was sent from. I guess you could say he died. I think it had something to do with Gandalf being good and "Pure".

They mentioned 5, there are only 5 that were sent to middle earth as wizards.

The 2 blue wizards went east and were supposed to weaken Sauron's forces in the east. Radagast the brown I assume only cared about animals anyway.

It's not mentioned in the movies, (LOTR, and probably not in the the Hobbit movies to come, either) but the 5 wizards (Gandalf the Grey, Radagast the Brown, Saruman the White, and two blue wizards that are only referenced) are placed on middle earth by their versions of gods. So, basically, they told him he wasn't done yet, and had him replace Saruman as the white wizard, since he had basically said fukk nature/traditional magic, and was riding with Sauron. It's hinted at in the scene where they ask him how he came back.
