Cole made his own way.

He is from Fayetteville. Not necessarily a known entity in hip-hop like Compton, LA, NYC, New Orleans, Atlanta, etc. That in itself is an interesting backstory.


He had Jay, but we all know how backs his artists not named Bleek or Rhianna. You kinda have to make your own way like Kanye did it. Cole did it too.

J has been consistent if anything. His diehards can speak more to the quality of his catalog though.

You can't but help respect his grind.
